What Do We Do?
Our family of volunteers have a deep love of the rich time period we portray and wish to share what we
have discovered with you.
We provide a small slice of living history to the public attending renaissance faires and students of
the seventh grade who are learning about the renaissance as part of their curriculum.
Our two guilds of St. Barbara’s (Patron Saint of military engineers) and St. Genesius (Patron Saint of
entertainers) focus on two different aspects of the renaissance. DANCE AND DESTRUCTION! St. Barbara’s
concentrates primarily on the reconstruction of siege engines and the “workers crafts”. Such as Carpentry,
Leatherwork and the making of Chainmail Armour.
St. Genesius on the other hand, provides entertainments of the time, such as Dancing, Singing and Gaming.
Some of the gentler crafts include Knitting, Sewing and Painting.
We attend several renaissance faires throughout California.
We host several picnics and fundraisers throughout the year.
We offer weekly meetings to provide training and comradarie.
We just have fun!
